TRAINING OF TRAINERS

Learn how to present REACH materials to other educators.

JUNE 25-28, 2007

The Training of Trainers session is designed for those educators who want to disseminate REACH programs or deepen their understanding of REACH concepts. Participants must have already attended a REACH Center Institute for K-12 Educators.

Educators from throughout the nation are attracted to this lively session. The training format encourages team building and informal networking, and provides opportunities to practice in groups.

The Training of Trainers is the first step toward certification as a REACH Trainer. Other steps include curriculum implementation, co-training and lead training. Prospective trainers can be mentored through the process which then leads to official certification.

The REACH Center encourages organizations to send a team that represents a balance of diversity. The development of a local team can save money and provide on-going support to organizations adopting REACH.
